Dear Elizabeth Lofts Owners and Residents:
This memo is to serve as a reminder that all washing machine hoses installed in units
must be stainless-steel braided versions, per Section 21. Remodeling and Repairs, Rule
21.10:
“All washing machine hoses installed in individual units must be the stainless-steel
braided version. If your unit does not have this type of hose, the hoses must be
replaced with stainless -steel braided hoses no later than Jan 1, 2020. It is strongly
recommended that you install longer hoses that will allow you to move the washing
machine without disconnecting it. In most units, a hose length of 72 inches should be
sufficient.”
The concierge desk will house a signup sheet for residents to indicate if they’d like to
use a vendor that could replace several units at once to reduce costs.
