Dear Elizabeth Lofts Residents:
Please be aware that there was a security breach at the Elizabeth early Saturday morning. A resident was waiting in the lobby for a ride to the airport and a man was waiting outside the front doors. When the resident left the building, the man walked right in. The resident happened to notice this and called one of her neighbors who was able to come down, found the man sleeping in the Concierge area, and called the Police. The Police arrived and escorted the man from the building.
Please be aware of your surroundings when you enter and exit the building, whether on foot or in a vehicle. If you witness a stranger enter the building, do not hesitate to call 911 immediately. Please also program these emergency numbers into your phone, including:

Pacific Patrol (503-595-3440)
Portland Police non-emergency number (503-823-3333).
It is also a good idea to have a “building buddy” who can hold a unit key in case you get locked out, check your unit while you are away and assist you when situations such as this arise.
